Welcome to the website of Upminster Methodist Church

It is said that"The person who never made a mistake never made anything". This can be true of the spiritual life. If we would do the things God calls us to in the world today then we must risk falling down. The promise that God give is that he will always be there, like a loving parent, to pick us up, to heal our hurts and encourage us to begin again.

Services are held at 10am and 6.30pm every Sunday as well as numerous other activites throughtout the week, take a look at the Services and Activities pages for further information.

During July we very much look forward to welcoming the newest additions to the Church Family with forthcoming Baptisms: July 6th James Read - son of Rachel and Richard: July 13th Elsie Boyd - daughter of Helen and Alex, sister of Lewis and grand-daughter of Dave and Pat Berry; July 13th Frankie Broad - son of Anesta and Gareth and brother of Maya

Thanks to everyone who helped in any way towards Christian Aid Week's house to house collection. The total collected was £845.50

The Children and Family Worker position is still unfilled as the successful applicant, following the interviews etc, decided he did not wish to take up the position. We have re advertised the position and hope to interview during August with the hope that we may be able to recruit for Septemer
