Established in 1909 by Sir Robert Baden Powell after a desire to have a female version of the Boy Scouts, the Guides is one of the sections of the Girl Guiding organisation. Guides follows on from Brownies, with the same ethic of training girls to have discipline and respect as well as to build up their confidence and friendships with each other, whilst having an enjoyable and memorable journey along the way. It is a great environment for girls to bond and learn together, without barriers or prejudice.

Guides meet on a Monday at 7.15pm, for all girls aged between 10 and 15. For more info contact Guide Captain Pat Gilbert.
