Welcome to the website of Upminster Methodist Church
The present economic crisis reminds us how much our society depends upon money for it to work. Christians sometimes give the impression that they should not be involved in such things and this has led people to living very compartmentalised lives where Sunday has little connection with the rest of the week. However, perhaps especially at times of crisis it is essential we have Christians, who have a higher value to refer to than the market or profit and are respected in these areas of life, at the heart of things. We ask for prayers not just for those who are victims of financial pressures but for those who as well as trying to do their job to the best of their ability are also representing Christ where they are in a difficult and confusing world.
Services are held at 10am and 6.30pm every Sunday as well as numerous other activites throughtout the week, take a look at the Services and Activities pages for further information.
